Airline Flights Baggage concepts When traveling from
the US/Canada to India or from India to US/Canada:
PRICE CONCEPT
For Adults
Two pieces of checked-in baggage and one piece of carry-on
baggage per passenger.
Weight: The weight of each checked-in
baggage must not exceed 32 kgs. The weight of the carry-on
baggage must not exceed 6 kgs.
Size: The sum of the three outside
dimensions of each checked-in baggage must not exceed
158 cms (62 inches), provided the addition of such two
sums does not exceed 273 cm (107 inches). The dimensions
of the carry-on baggage must not exceed 115 cm (45 inches).
For Child/Infant
Children (2-12 years) are entitled to the same baggage
allowances as adults. Infants (below 2 years) are allowed
one piece of checked-in baggage and a stroller/push-chair,
if collapsible. The sum of the outside dimensions of
the checked-in baggage must not exceed 115 cm (45 inches).
WEIGHT CONCEPTS
For Audlts
The weight concept includes both checked-in and carry-on
baggage. The free baggage allowance is 40 kgs (88 lbs)
for First class passengers, 30 kgs (66 lbs) for Business
class passengers and 20 kgs (44 lbs) for Economy class
passengers.
For Child/Infant
Children (2-12 years) are entitled to the
same baggage allowances as adults. Infants (below 2
years) are not entitled to any free baggage allowance.
