Holiday Standard Cover & Videsh Yatra Mitra

(The policy is available to people within the age group of 6 months - 70 years)
The overseas Holiday Standard Cover provides compensation for medical expenses incurred for immediate treatment of diseases first contracted or injury first sustained, in-flight personal accident cover and loss of passport cover during the insured period of overseas travel. All these are subject to policy
terms and conditions. The Videsh Yatra Mitra policy provides enhanced medical cover for the above mentioned cases. In addition it covers personal accidents, delay and total loss of checked baggage, loss of passport and personal liability covers.

Medical Test required (ECG and Diabetes Test) only if:

Eligibility 
Citizens of the Republic of India and Non Indian Citizens residing in the Republic of India
who are undertaking bonafide trips outside India for:

People accompanying the person who is going abroad for official / business purposes will be treated as going under Holiday Travel.

Note: Reserve Bank Permit Number may not be insisted on at the time of proposal form.
Foreign Nationals Working in India:
|
|
Policy can be issued to foreign nationals working in India for Indian employers of multinational organizations, receiving their salary in Indian Rupees, to cover such executives overseas official visits undertaken on behalf of the Indian Employers. |
|
|
Corporate Frequent Traveler (CFT - PLANS-E & H): An annual policy for CFT can be issued under plans E &H to the officials of the corporate clients registered under the Companies Act, who are regularly traveling overseas. |
|
|
CFT cover can also be granted to partners of registered partnership firms subject to the condition that they are traveling for business purposes. |
|
|
CFT cover for spouse: CFT Policy can also be issued to the spouse of the corporate Insured Person, collecting appropriate CFT premium. Further, there will be no objection to the spouse staying longer than the Corporate Insured Person on a particular trip, but up to the trip limits of the
CFT cover.

Period of Insurance 
|
|
The period of insurance commences on the first day of departure from India and expires on the last day of the number of days specified in the schedule, or on return to India - whichever is earlier. |
|
|
Extension of the period of insurance is automatic for the period not exceeding 7 working days, and without extra charge, if necessitated by delay of public transport services beyond the control of the insured person. |
