Dear Bharat,
Thank you very much for all your help and work you did for us in helping plan and execute our trip. Everything was just wonderful. The tour guides were all very knowledgeable and their English was very good which was helpful for us to understand quickly everything we were seeing. The sites we saw were amazing. India is definitely an interesting country to visit. We have seen so many new things, and tasted some delicious food. The traffic is unlike anything we have ever seen!
Thank you for the recommendation on upgrading to the 5 star hotels. They were all perfect for us and had very nice accomodations. We slept so well which helps a lot.
I had your phone number with me, and just as I thought, you had everything just perfect for us so we did not need it.
Mr. Pravel, our driver, was very good at showing us sites and explaining them to us as we drove to the various cities. He was always on time, very courteous, a good driver and a pleasure to be with. Please tell him we thank him for everything.
My husband may need to come back for business in 4-7 months. If so, I will be coming too and will contact you for another side trip for sure. Where was it that you recommended to me on the telephone before I left this time?
again, thank you for everything.
I will definitely recommend your website and company to anyone and everyone that I can.

Dear Rajat / Varada / Nimit,
I would like to thank all of you for your assistance in arranging the 10day sojourn for my wife Marianne and me this past November. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the hotels you scheduled for us as well as the events. Our drivers to and around Jaipur (Subhash) and in and around Kerala (Shan) were really excellent - very helpful in all respects as well as being expert drivers. The crew that met us at the Mumbai airport and got us to the train were also quite efficient - working against a late-arriving flight.
Kingfisher airlines is impressive - Jett Airways much less so. The latter handled the delayed flight in a rather disorganized way, which included requiring us (with Nimit's unflagging assistance) to spend half a day rearranging our transportation and getting sign-offs on the penalty payments. But - due to Nimit's tireless and evenhanded patience and support - the new reservations worked out well - without penalty to us. We really want to thank Nimit for his enormous effort on our behalf. Nimit also arranged with airport security to allow Marianne to enter the airport early (with me); this helped a great deal in managing our luggage late at night.
We very much enjoyed the leisurely houseboat trip as well as the bay excursion in Kerala. The one disappointment (which I mentioned to the train supervisor, who shared our cabin on the train from Mumbai to Goa) was the grimy condition of the train windows. The scenery along the way is most impressive, but not quite as enjoyable as it would been if we could have seen it more clearly.
All-in-all we saw a part of India mostly new and interesting for us.

Dear Suruchi,
Thanks a lot, we had a great time in India. Our Delhi trip was awsome. We are extremely glad we found you to make arrangements for us. Especially since only 2 women who had never been to Delhi were travelling by ourself we were sceptical in the beginning but after I spoke to you on the phone we were convinced.
The hotel we stayed was very very nice. People were exceptionally nice, hospitable and gracious. Hotel was very very clean and comfortable. We will defenetly stay there again and recommend to everyone.
The tour guide in Agra was very sweet. She was knowledgeable and her commentary was very nice. She would be a part of our next trip for sure.
Suruchi Sah, was the best travel consultant anyone can have. Her arrangements were seamless. She was very very helpful. I will most defentely use her expertise any time and infact I already gave her phone number to a friend who is planning a visit in summer.
Make my trip.com is such a help in solving all travel needs for us NRI. Its a one stop shop. Defentely recommend it. In all thanks for making our Delhi/ Agra trip great and memorable.

Dear Suruchi,
Thank you for your email. We had a wonderful trip thanks to you in India. Everything was perfect, and especially our driver was simply wonderful. Please convey to him how very impressed we all four were with him and thank him very much for all his troubles. He was not at all flappable, very calm and pleasant.
The hotels were great although, just for your future information, we had money stolen from our hotel room safe - we did not complain at the time, because we are not sure whether it happened in the hotel in Delhi or Jaipur and as we were not sure which of the two hotels it happened in, we remained silent. For your future clients, it would be something you need to make sure does not happen. Other than that we are very happy with everything you provided. Although, it might be a suggestion that the guides do not keep pushing stores etc. for us to go and shop in!!! it is annoying and one feels pressured to do so.
Once again , many many thanks for everything and we will certainly recommend others to you.

Dear Mr. Sharma,
I would like to thank you very much for arranging our trip to India. It was very well organized and the service was excellent. The Hotels were beautiful and very comfortable. The guides that accompanied us in every city were very professional, friendly and accommodating, answering all our questions and explaining a lot of the things we did not know.
The bus was very good, so was the driver. We enjoyed seeing and experiencing your great country and culture.
As for the Maldives, the arrangements were excellent, from transportation to hotel accommodation.
As for yourself, you were an excellent tour leader , always patient, friendly and trying to please everyone in the group.
My husband, my two children and myself thank you very much and hope this trip shall only be , the beginning of our future trips to India.
As for the itinerary of our next trip, it is too soon to decide, but we will let you know as soon as we have decided on the destinations.
Pleas find attached your picture with Amina and Mostafa at Ranthambur Tiger Safari.
Thank you

Mr. Sharma,
The trip was fantastic, my wife and i had a lovely time and the staff of makemytrip.com were great. they were always on time, very helpful and courteous. accommodations, transfers and flights were all very good.
Both hotels were excellent, the staff there were very good. our only complaint was the food/beverage service at the taj exotica which was over priced and not very good. fortunately there were some great places just outside the grounds.
Thanks again for all your work in putting together a wonderful honeymoon.

Hello Suruchi,
We have arrived back home safe and sound today.
Thank you so much for your efforts we were all very impressed with the arrangements you made. Many thanks for the upgrade you arranged for the Taj Palace – It was very kind of you and a very special experience for us to end our trip on.
I was particularly grateful for all the transfer arrangements you made which really helped to smooth our way through the difficult arrangements of finding the right place to go. This was very important for us traveling with children and my in-laws who were very overwhelmed by the India experience. Your staff were all very professional and most importantly completely reliable and on time as well as very friendly and enjoyable to talk to.
We were especially grateful to your representative in Agra (Azzuridin I think) who plucked us from Agra station as soon as we left the train and whisked us off in air conditioned comfort to the wonderful Jaypee Palace Hotel making the trip completely hassle free. Also the guide arranged for us in Agra (Faizal I think) was exceptional – with his knowledge and passion for the history of the place and his friendly manner we fell in love with Agra. He was also very refreshing in that he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and at no point tried to encourage us to shop – which we found a nice change in India.
Also a special mention for the Tempo Traveller and driver you provided – very comfortable and enjoyable experience and we liked your driver very much who was professional and drove very carefully making us feel completely safe and relaxed.
The staff at the Tiger Den resort were also great and the accommodation very enjoyable. I would however recommend the jeep safari as the Canter safaris were not able to get near to the tigers.
We loved the atmosphere, rooms and especially the swimming pool at the Alsisar Haveli in Jaipur – only quibble is that my father in law thinks we were cheated in the restaurant and my mother wanted tea making facilities in the room. However all in all a great experience.
And thanks most of all to you – everything at your end went perfectly which I was very grateful for as it took alot of pressure from me to make things smooth for everyone. I was very impressed with all the arrangements you were able to make for our made to order itinerary. Thanks to you we were able to have an amazing holiday experience with very little hassle at all – not at all what I expected for traveling in India. Great work and I look forward to many more trips with you and will definitely recommend you to my friends.
All the best to you.

Dear Mr. Jain,
We are back in Chicago. I would like to thank you and your company Make My Trip for excellent arrangements through out our trip. We had no problem at all. The car was waiting for us at the Kochi airport on November 5 and dropped us back at the airport on November 8. The house boat trip was excellent. We had a very enjoyable trip and wished we had some additional time to visit other near by areas. We would certainly like to go back there one more time.
The only problem in our whole trip was the check in procedure at Jetlite in Delhi which was just chaos on Monday morning November 5.
Thanks again and best wishes

Dear Suruchi,
We apologize for the lateness of this more complete reply. While we both maintained excellent health throughout our 22-day India sojourn, we did experience some minor but lingering malaise during the first 3 weeks following our return. So we are late in complying with our schedule and assorted time commitments, and we hope you will understand. Let us try to reply in narrative form but generally (if not completely) following the order of your Feedback form. We have tried to provide feedback that we hope will be helpful to you and will also let you and your firm know how very, very pleased we were with your services. Should you or MakeMyTrip.com wish to use any of our comments, you have our permission to do so. Here goes . . . . .
1st - Special Comment: We cannot thank you, Suruchi, and your chief executive, enough for the efficient and effective way in which you addressed Eunice's day-of-departure dental emergency. We were truly amazed and deeply appreciative of the fact that, less than 11 hours following our plane's touchdown in Delhi, Eunice was being successfully and cheerfully treated in a top-notch dental clinic. THANK YOU - DHANYAVAD ! - SHUKRIA ! (This was one more example of MakeMyTrip.com's personal attention to the needs and interests of its individual clients - rather than trying to stuff clients into a one-size-fits-all, "cookie-cutter" model characteristic of far too many travel-service firms these days. See also below, 5th - Overall Services from MakeMyTrip.com.) Bravo!
2nd - Driver Service: Except for the one-time mix-up upon our arrival at Bangalore Airport (for which we understand that there were extenuating circumstances), all Driver Services were carried off with efficiency and professionalism. However, we want to make special complimentary/positive mention of two drivers in particular who provided us with extended and very informative service (especially during those periods when we were without regular Guide Services): Subash [Delhi Arrival through Jaipur-Airport Departure] and Biju Peter [Kerala Tour through Cochin Departure]. The respective travel agencies of each of these two gentlemen should be complimented on their pleasant, informative, respectful and professional service above-and-beyond the call of duty over the course of many days.
3rd - Hotel Services:
(A) Avalon Courtyard: Very comfortable facilities and pleasant/helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Our only mild complaint is that its location seemed so far away from most of the important Greater Delhi sites. However, we understand that the lateness of our planning and reservations probably had something to do with that circumstance!
(B) Agra Holiday Inn: Good facilities and breakfast. Would have preferred lodging closer to the Taj Mahal but this was still acceptable.
(C) Jaipur Holiday Inn: Good facilities, good breakfast, accommodating staff and good laundry services. Location was not in the most pleasant part of town but, again, we understand.
(D) Udaipur Shikarbadi: Wonderful lodging, very enjoyable location for both historical and natural/environmental reasons - even though it was outside town, although not very far away. Staff was solicitous and cheerful. Outside patio/gardens were a special treat because of the bird and wildlife activity within the very grounds of this former royal hunting lodge. Facilities and personnel reflect the efficiency and charm of those earlier times. If we were to return to Udaipur in future, we would very likely request this same lodging once again!
(E) Mumbai Ramee Guestline: Disappointed in condition of both facility and service. Room should have been cleaner and better maintained, while the front-desk personnel seemed rushed (after-all, Mumbai is very much like New York City: "big-bad-brassy-brusque"! so, we can't really complain too much). Another big problem was its excessive distance from most of the important historical and cultural sites of Bombay; it took our car-and-driver more than one hour each way to get back and forth between hotel and downtown, greatly limiting our touring time! We would definitely not accept this lodging in the future.
(F) Aurangabad Ambassador: Very good facility, with a surprising number of activities available for guests (even if we did not have much time to enjoy them!). Staff was also very pleasant and helpful. Although its location was away from the center of town, it still provided a very pleasant "retreat" following the day's strenuous activities.
(G) Bangalore St. Mark's: Very good facility and well located. Very helpful, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast, good laundry.
(H) Kochi Renaissance: Overall, the general and common facilities were quite nice; excellent restaurant in a pleasant outside setting; good breakfast. Our guest room, however, was a bit old and slightly 'dingy' (in need of some painting and upgrading), and the hotel location was way too far away from all the charming sites, important historical venues, and engrossing activities of Old Fort Cochin (requiring about an hour to get there and back). Unless one can have easy and frequent access to Old Cochin, we see little reason to stay in that city otherwise. However, we recognize that the larger, more well-known hotels of Old Cochin are a bit too expensive, but we did see a number of smaller boutique lodgings in the old city that we would recommend that MakeMyTrip.com investigate for possible future use.
(I) Munnar Tall Trees: Lovely and excellent lodging with very accommodating staff; restaurant personnel were especially charming, solicitous and very friendly.
(J) Thekkaddy Cardamom County: Excellent, convenient location, with very good food service at both breakfast and evening supper; common facilities and setting were very good, as was the guest room except for one thing: While there was no need for air conditioning, there was a need for mosquito protection! The main window in the bedroom had good screens, but the smaller window between the bedroom and the bathroom had no screen and was permanently open to the outside air!
(K) Kumarakom Backwater Ripples: Excellent facilities, guest room, and location. Food service very good as well. We did have a little language difficulty with the front desk in trying to clarify our desire to change the time (for which we willingly paid extra) in which we were to visit the Bird Sanctuary. Our schedule had us visiting the Sanctuary in the middle of the day (which was very hot and humid) of our arrival. Typically, the best time in which to visit bird sanctuaries is either early morning or late afternoon (mid-day is not so good, especially if it is hot and languid). So, we would recommend that the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - which is very, very good and well worth a visit with a local canoeing guide who also is familiar with good sighting venues both on the water and on land - only be scheduled in very early morning (just at or immediately after dawn) or during the last 2 hours of daylight in the late afternoon/early evening.
(J) Backwaters Houseboat: Outstanding experience! We were the only guests in a 1-stateroom kettuvallam (which was only 45 days old!) with a wonderful 3-man crew. The meals were fit for a maharajah's family! The sights along the canals (dwellings, families at play and work, rice paddies, marshes with excellent shorebirds, kingfishers, coconut palms and toady juice, fishermen at work, etc. etc.) were very special indeed. Well done and highly recommended!
(K) Kochi Malabar House: Although expensive, very well located - with excellent historically sensitive facilities and 'classy' guestrooms. Glad we made the change - but now that we know more about smaller less expensive hotels in the old city, we would recommend considering them next time. Thanks for helping us make the change!
(L) Delhi Avalon Courtyard: Felt like "home" after nearly 3 weeks 'away'! Continued good service.
5th - Overall Services from MakeMyTrip.com: We could not be more pleased with the services of MakeMyTrip.com! Our Trip Counselor, Suruchi Sah, throughout our stateside planning and communication process and during our 22 days in India, was consistently attuned to our interests and requests, and was able to craft a travel plan that more than met our desires! She was a keen listener and then responded with recommendations that were 'spot-on' and that, in the end, brought a great deal of 'value-added' pleasure to our trip. Your representatives at each new venue along the way were well-prepared, diligent and courteous. We have sung your praises to our friends back home, telling them to not waste time searching days on end for just the right India trip planner-and-adviser. Instead - just go to MakeMyTrip.com, tell them your interests, and rely confidently on their professional skills and full range of service providers throughout the country. You all are professional, personable, reliable and a pleasure to do business with! We recommend you without the slightest reservation. BRAVO!
With our sincerest best wishes,

Rajat,
Hello. I miss India. The trip was over so quickly, and when we got back Gerard and I had to deal with missing two weeks of work. We’re still far too busy to reflect on the trip, to sort our photos, etc. Since it is summer vacation here, all the faculty and students are gone from the campus as well.
Both Gerard and I want to thank you for a super trip; the travel arrangements were excellent. We will talk to CMU travel abroad people in the late summer when they return. If you want to use us as a reference, I’d be glad to help.

Dear Rajat,
I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the YPO Delhi chapter to thank you and your team for your excellent service given to our members from the Danube Chapter. They have gone back thrilled and feeling almost like royalty. They loved every event and every destination they went to at Jaipur and Udaipur and would love to come back again.
This was great team work between you and all your colleagues – Ajay, Jeevan, Nimit, Pawar (hope I have the names right) and of course for all the kind support we got from Mr. Deep Kalra. And if I have left out anyone…I apologise ? ...But this truly goes to every single person involved in looking after and extending their warm hospitality to our guests and for creating an exclusive and wonderful programme for us. I must congratulate you on your ability to have had the patience to be able to work and rework on our itinerary again and again to try and help us succeed in our planning. This thorough planning is what worked wonders and created the grand finale.
Rajat, I would request you to please send this to email to all concerned including all at HRH and Rajasthan Tours (Mr. Bhim Singh, Farooq, Dashrath Singh, Pushpinder and others) as they deserve an applause too.
We look forward to continued support from Make My Trip and it will be a pleasure to work with you again.

Dear Rajat and Wasim,
I returned to the US, a couple of weeks ago, after a very successful Trade Mission and Conference in Noida.
This is formally to thank you both for all the arrangements and cooperation which made the trip interesting and productive.
Indian hospitality was outstanding and your staff very friendly and helpful.
Rajat, also want to mention that the sightseeing in Delhi and Agra after the conference also went off well. We had an excellent guide in Agra and we enjoyed the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort very much. I expect that you got our payment from the Driver and that everything is A-OK.
Thanks Again and Best Regards

Hi Rajat,
It was a pleasure to work and meet you personally.....and so sorry to say good bye in such a hurry.
We were expecting you at the airport and not at the hotel in the last minute......
thank you for everything......the girls were happy.......and I enjoyed meeting all the guides and my most extended thanks is for our DRIVER KARAM which was wonderful......and did an incredible job while in AGRA with a flooded and dangerous situation.
All the hotels were fine.......but the last one ASHOK.....It was OK as we stayed just a little while......but its not an hotel to stay...as the rooms are old......dark......and looks like dirty.......And the other disappointment is that I did not get the Pushkar Palace....as the other one was far away and not convenient. to reach.......
All the other hotels where great .....and the tours.......I appreciate your patience with me and your knowledge....As I felt responsible of these ladies and wanted everything to work fine and for them to feel comfortable.......I could not do it without your knowledge and help.
You are a very talented young man and you know what you are doing. I congratulate you and wish you all the best in your career .....I certainly will work with you again ......soon.
If I do it again, I would change a couple of things in the itinerary......
One of the girls, SILVIA GARCIA wrote a compliment letter to you RAJAT and Makemytrip........ in our names.....and here I am sending a copy to you to read.... and to put in your website if you want to......
THANK YOU RAJAT... :) |

Dear MakeMyTrip people,
I wanted to say thanks for the great organisation of our trip through India.
Everything went very well, we really enjoyed the tour.
We were happy with the drivers, guides (except for the one in Varanasi who got unfriendly when we didn't follow his shopping tipps), flights and most hotels. Hotels we would not recommend is Bikaner Palace (10 km out of the city in the middle of nowhere, a strange place, with a strange atmosphere and no other guests), Abay Days in Jodhpur and Hindustan in Varanasi (both quite run-down and dirty).
We spent a great time in India, a really memorable holiday.
Thanks again and best regards. |

I just wanted to thank you and your company for all the services and attentions received during our stay in India.
Every and each person (Guide, driver.....) were more than kind, always on time, always ready to comply our demands. At all times we felt like if we were home.
All the hotels were fantastic, great rooms and service, except for the Metro Hiights in Delhi. (Ugly, scary and bad located). It was not the best welcome and we were really glad next day when we saw our hotel in Varanasi, and all the others in the rest of the cities. This is just a constructive coment, as I know this helps your company to offer a better service.
Thank you again and again for all your time and patience during all this process.
We are back home and reality with the BEST memories of your country, the incredible, incredible India.
Hope to contact you again
