The Bagh is a heritage hotel set in 12 acres in the two-hundred-year-old garden in Bharatpur of the bird sanctuary fame.

Dining
Gulmohur is the Bagh's vegetarian restaurant serving authentic cuisine of the Brij area. In concurrence with its name, the restaurant is located in the hotel's extensive orchards. Mahua is the outdoor bar serving a variety of spirits, with live performances in the evenings. There is a coffee shop on the premises as well.

The highlight of The Bagh is Surkhaab, the vintage garage with three vintage cars, including a 1946 Chrysler Plymouth, a1918 Model T Ford and a 1938 ten Series III Morris as well as a Triumph 1938 motorcycle! Sheesham is the recreational complex with a spa offering Ayurvedic massages, swimming pool and a gymnasium, all situated in the verdant orchard. After bird watching in the Keoladeo National Park, the Bagh offers the well stocked library as well as lectures and slide shows by eminent naturalists at Semal, the learning centre. The amphitheatre here is used for Yoga classes as well as performances. Morchalli is the conference hall. Experienced guides escort the guests on day excursions to nearby World Heritage and pilgrimage Sights. Visitors can also enjoy the festivals and performances that are celebrated with great delight in the Bagh. A gift shop adds to the The Bagh's charms. The UP State Handicrafts Showroom and Pizza Hut lie at a distance of 250 metres from the hotel.
Howard Park Plaza, a 4 star hotel, offers the complete range of facilities that are required for a comfortable stay. The hotel's atrium lobby is decorated with a beautiful marble centre-piece that is crafted like a rangoli and filled with coloured gravel. Looming right above that is a long and exquisite chandelier, possibly the longest in Agra. After admiring these wondrous decor items, move on to the reception where the friendly staff greet you eagerly and help you check in.

Accommodation options at the hotel include one Suite and 85 Superior rooms that are elegantly furnished and well appointed with all modern amenities including sofa, study table, cable television, tea/coffee maker, mini bar, luggage rack, cupboard and thermostat with temperature control. A complimentary bottle of mineral water is provided in each room. The attached washroom has a bathtub and soap, shampoo, shower cap and linen are provided for.
The Suite has a separate living room and bedroom besides two washrooms. Howard Park Plaza offers a range of dining options including a rooftop barbeque facility (during winter only). Rendezvous, the multi cuisine restaurant cum coffee shop adjoining the lobby offers a variety of Indian, Continental and Chinese delicacies with buffet as well as a la carte options while Downing Street, the pool facing bar offers the best in Indian as well as imported brands. While Rendezvous is open from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm, Downing Street remains open from 11 am to 11 pm. Room service is available round the clock.

Regal Hall, the conference/banquet hall with a provision of partition, can accommodate up to 350 guests while the Business Centre offers all necessary business services.
The range of recreational facilities offered at Howard Park Plaza includes a Spa with a beauty salon and ayurvedic massage centre. Most famous for its tiger population, the Ranthambore National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary covers 392 sq. km of the total 1,334 sq. km area of Ranthambore. It is bordered by two rivers, Chambal and Banas, which are the lifeline of the area. During the dry summers, pools formed on the river beds serve as the best place for animal sightings. For those who like tranquility, the 200 km safari on four different trails, presents an amazing assortment of resident and migratory birds and animals in Ranthambore National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. Visitors need to adhere to the Forest Department's fixed timings for the morning and afternoon safaris of three hours each.
Morning safari times in winter are usually 7:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., while in summer, it's 6:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. The evening safari times in winter are 4 P.M. to 6:30 P.M., while in summer it's 3 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.

The town of Bharatpur in Eastern Rajasthan is a fascinating place to visit. With a rich history and a royal heritage, Bharatpur is also famous for its former royal duck-hunting pastures, today the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the finest bird sanctuaries in Asia, with an extensive variety of avian species including many migratory birds, some coming from as far as Siberia! Bharatpur was once the well-fortified capital city of a kingdom ruled by Jat maharajas, with a massive wall built around it. Today, Bharatpur has numerous impressive edifices, from the Lohagarh Fort to the Bharatpur Palace, and the Ganga Mandir to Laxman Mandir. Under the Mughals, the city witnessed the blossoming of some of the finest pieces of architecture ever made.
