This 4 star hotel was started in 1985 and is a 6 storied structure that stands in a by lane in Mysore. It is an ever present structure which holds a demanding view of Mysore from the top floors.

Lobby
Hotel Regaalis? interior has the feel of a 5 star hotel with white marble flooring and pillars and wood paneling on the walls. On the left of the entrance are four separate seating spaces divided by four pillars, patterned silk upholstered sofas, benches with striped patterns on them and polished wooden centre tables. Elongated long wooden tables with smart lamps atop them divide these seating spaces. Illuminated panels on the ceiling light up the area. Lovely large plants in large pots line the entire area adding to the charm of the room. The reception is further down the lobby and stands pretty in white marble from top to bottom. It seems to merge with the flooring.

Rooms
The hotel has a total of a whopping 105 rooms that are divided into 54 Superior rooms, 28 Premier rooms, 14 Junior Suite rooms, 8 Premier Suite rooms and 1 Presidential Suite. The facilities common to all the rooms are cable television, air conditioning, 24 hour room service, minibar, 24 hours hot & cold running water, tea/coffee maker, complimentary fruit platter and cookies, wireless internet connection at an extra charge and in the washrooms there are hairdryers, magnifying mirrors and luxurious toiletries. Only the Premier rooms enjoy the benefit of an electronic safe and the Premier rooms as well as Deluxe rooms have bathrobes and slippers provided. The rooms from the 1st to the 4th floor have bathtubs while the last 2 floors have shower spaces. The Suites are much larger with separate spaces for the living room, dining table and bedroom.

This is one smart and stylish space with contemporary settings and furniture with coloured hues and a lot of black and whites. is the Indian Tandoori specialty restaurant by the poolside which is open only for dinner from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The Lobby Bar, as speaks is connected to the lobby and is open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. It serves snacks and an assortment of the choicest alcoholic beverages. Finally, there is the Pastry Shop which offers some of the best pastries in town and you could even enjoy these in the comfort of your room.

Banquets & Conferences
The business facilities offered in the hotel are Darbar Hall which can accommodate a maximum of 250p people. There is Jyothi Hall which can also accommodate 250 people. The Board Room can accommodate a maximum of 30 persons while the Palmspring Lawn which is beside the pool can accommodate more than 1,000 persons.

HILL COUNTRY HOLIDAY RESORT

City: Ooty

An eight year old property, Hill Country Holiday Resort is spread across three levels in a 4 acre area. At the entrance is the reception building with a parking lot adjacent to it. The two storey structure faces a rose garden that has all shades of roses in full bloom. Although small, the reception and lobby are conveniently located on the ground floor of the building. Plans are underway to set up an ayurveda centre and gymnasium on the first floor.

From here, a winding road leads higher to the second level where another parking lot is located. Close to it is the children's play area, which is set up on a lush green lawn and boasts of numerous swings to keep the kids occupied for hours. A path alongside the playground leads further towards the cottages and room blocks. The restaurant and conference hall are located further up on the third level.

Rooms
The resort has 2 Deluxe Cottages and 16 Regular Suites. Each Deluxe Cottage has two bedrooms and a big hall, part of which serves as the living room. Furnished with 2 divans and a four-seater dining table, the living room is spacious. It is equipped with a refrigerator and cable television with 100 channels. At one end is the kitchenette with a geyser and basic utensils. Hot plates and vessels can be arranged at the charge of Rs. 250 per day.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table and cupboard while the second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms have large windows for a clear view of the surrounding area. There are two washrooms, one attached to the master bedroom and another that is common to the living room and second bedroom. Each washroom has a geyser and is appointed with essential amenities.

The Suites are located in two blocks. Each block has 8 Suites, four on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor. While half the suites face the valley below, the remaining offer a view of the resort itself. Each Suite is appointed with a king size bed, an additional single bed, 2 chairs with a centre table, cable television, refrigerator, cupboard and luggage rack. It also has an attached kitchenette and washroom. Kitchen facilities and washroom amenities are same across categories.

Dining
Hill Country Holiday Resort has a multi cuisine restaurant that serves North Indian, South Indian and Chinese cuisines besides select Continental dishes. The restaurant remains open through out the day and serves snacks between breakfast (7:30 am - 10:30 am), lunch (12:30 pm - 3:30 pm) and dinner (7:30 pm - 10:30 pm). Room service is available from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm at a surcharge of 20%.

Conferences & Banquets
Adjoining the restaurant is a multi purpose hall that can be used for conferences, parties and meetings. It can accommodate 50 guests in a theatre style arrangement and 30 guests in a U-shape seating arrangement. Buffet and group events can also be organised in the adjacent garden.

Recreational Facilities
Recreational facilities include two bonfire areas where bonfire dinners, parties and get-togethers can be organised on request. The multi purpose hall serves as an activity centre with table tennis, carom, chess and other board games. It can also be used as a discotheque. One can also enjoy strolls and trek around the property.
