Baggage Allowance

US Airways baggage policy states that the maximum permissible weight per bag (check-in luggage) should not exceed 50 pounds. Also no more than 9 bags are allowed per person. The history of US Airways dates back to All America Aviation Company which was established in 1939 by du Pont Family brothers and CEO Steven Gardner. US Airways also suffered biggest financial woes post 9/11 and opted to go for a merger with America West Airlines in 2005 to overcome the dismal condition.
